Causative means to ask somebody to do something as he/she wants..
Causative can be divided into two parts:
a. Causative HAVE (make, let)
b. Causative GET (ask, order, help, tell)
And causative can be formed into active and passive.
Active Causative:
S1+Have (see the tenses)+ Obj(person)+Verb1+Obj(thing)
S1+Get (see the tenses) + Obj (person) + To Verb 1+ Obj (thing)
Examples:
I will have the barber cut my hair
I will make the barber cut my hair.
Note: The verbs as make, let, ask, order, help, tell only used in active causative
Passive Causative:
S1+Have/Get+ Obj(thing) + Verb3 + by + Obj(person)
Examples:
She has her skirt cleaned by Bik Inah.
They had had the tasks submitted by the class monitor.
He got his motorbike repaired soon.
